EcoTank printers in the test: Fixed tanks for the ink

Most inkjet printers work with ink cartridges. If they are empty, they are exchanged – if it is up to the manufacturer, of course preferably for new cartridges, because that’s how he earns the most money. Ink tank printers, on the other hand, work with permanently installed tanks that can be refilled as required. These containers are significantly more voluminous than the exchangeable cartridges. The tanks can be refilled with ink bottles – and they are sometimes up to ten times larger than cartridges. With the EcoTank models ET-2710, ET-2726, ET-2721, ET-2720 and ET-2820, the refill bottles each hold 65 milliliters of ink, with the Epson EcoTank ET-8500 even 70 milliliters.
