Razer Leviathan V2 Pro: This is what the new gamer soundbar can do

The soundbar area is not new territory for hardware manufacturer Razer. The first Leviathan was released in 2014, now the gaming specs are following up with the Leviathan V2 Pro. The 60 centimeter long sound bar comes with a subwoofer and should offer perfect sound for every game, not only the built-in speaker drivers help, but also a special extra. Razer Leviathan V2 Pro: Speakers

Five speaker drivers are designed to deliver perfect gaming sound.

The Razer Leviathan V2 Pro consists of a sound bar (60x11x90 centimeters) and a subwoofer (26x30x26 centimeters). The connection to the PC is via USB cable. The soundbar is also equipped with Bluetooth and a stereo output (3.5 mm jack) for headsets. Of course, Razer has also built all kinds of lights into the Leviathan. The LEDs are supposed to create a better gaming atmosphere and the colorful lights are a must for many gamers.

Razer Leviathan V2 Pro: infrared camera

The small infrared camera captures the user’s head and adjusts the sound to the position.

Basically, the Leviathan V2 Pro looks like an ordinary soundbar, but it hides a little extra: An infrared lens in the middle of the bar detects the gamer’s head and adjusts the sound with the help of artificial intelligence. Thus, users should always get the best spatial sound, no matter in which position they sit in front of the Razer soundbar. Since 2016, Razer has held the THX sound certificate, which became known primarily through cinemas. This guarantees that Razer paid attention to certain sound adjustments and components during construction. The Leviathan V2 Pro has yet to prove that the seal of quality is not just a facade.

price and availability

According to the manufacturer, the Razer Leviathan V2 Pro will be available from January 2023. The starting price of 489.99 euros is quite high – the gaming soundbar is more than twice as expensive as the version without Pro.
